INSIDE / OUTSIDE

"The curve described by a projectile, or the like in its flight.”

TRAJECTIONS is a brand new one-day festival for the UK Summer.

From the team that brought you Boom Bap Festival, TRAJECTIONS touches down with a clear mission; to fuse the very best from our past with the voice of tomorrow, to expertly balance nostalgia with the now, to carve a new path from where we are to where we WILL be.

TRAJECTIONS represents a conscious expansion of the Boom Bap blueprint in direct response to the ever-expanding musical landscape. Curated by a team of tastemakers in response to the ever-evolving sound of our cities and their sub-cultures, TRAJECTIONS represents fresh terrain for the music you love and the music you will love.

In one place. At one time. Under one roof. Under sunlight. And starlight. A celebration.

TRJ001_ By Day, By Night_

‘Each of the twenty-four-hour periods, reckoned from one midnight to the next, into which a week, month, or year is divided, and corresponding to a rotation of the earth on its axis.'

Daytime_ the time of the day between sunrise and sunset. Nighttime_ the time between evening and morning; the time of darkness.

A celebration of urban music in its many guises; TRAJECTIONS marries epic headliners, genre-crafting legends and cult heroes, with the ‘next big thing’, all in the space of 24 hours this Summertime in Bristol, England.

By day; a hip hop block block party, by night, a jungle skank out. By day, waves of emcee and producer battles, by night, huge grime clashes. By day, main stage takeovers by the UK’s finest rap collectives, by night, genre bending grime artists and B2B DJ sets spanning garage, drum and bass and every subculture in between, designed to light up TRJ001 Nighttime during the absence of the sun.

TRJ001_ Two things in one space; sun worship, and then, as night falls, dancing until sun rise.
